I see your point but right now GBP is hurting for talent and their match making has hurt some of their potential stars (i.e Victor Ortiz) Hopkins I believe has left (or leaving GBP) Mosley is on the decline and JMM and Juan Diaz are also on the way out. So they are hurting regarding elites.

Top Rank on the other hand may not possess as many TV dates as GBP but that was a mistake on GBP to begin with because their star talent has dwindled considerably. I mean, if HBO is passing on Mosley Vs Mora then it GBP is can do something more regarding recruitment and make making of fighters.

They have decent talent and you can't make a ommelette without breaking eggs. Top Rank is more experianced in making fighters, that is why they are better GBP will improve over time as the learn hard lessons. Their older talents are being phased out but all those guys have served their uses.

GBP is in solid position, especially aslong as Floyd is allied with them and fighting because it just serves the whole notion is that is who the biggest guy is always with, the logner that goes on the harder that is for Top Rank to fight especially as they get less TV time.

Chad Dawson stays chasing after big fights whether he gets them or not (all I know is Adamek, Johnson, Tarveer, soon Pascal all ranked in the top 5 when he fought them).

He entered Andre Dirrell in the Super 6 with 18 fights.

He put Tim Bradley in against Witter (at 140 #1 at the time), Cherry, Holt (unification), Lamont Peterson, and Abregu consecutively.

He's put Darchinyan in with any and everyone. As soon he lost to Donaire, Vic moved up and took Kirilov's title, demolished Mijares and Arce, to earn even more notoriety than before.

Angulo has been moved along well and, except for the Valero fight, so has Demarco.
