in the fight, larry merchant was talking about how he's from a village in africa called soo-way-too (that's how he said it. i'm not sure how you spell it). yeah, that was a hell of a fight. after a few rounds, looked like ledwaba didn't know where he was. also, manny was a late sub. ledwaba was supposed to fight another opponent. talk about bad luck...Originally posted by Nick1998Thanks for the info bro. Ima see if I can find the fight. Is Ledwaba Filipino also

Of all the possible subs in the division, he had to pick Pacman. Ledwaba never knew what hit him!Originally posted by simeraksouin the fight, larry merchant was talking about how he's from a village in africa called soo-way-too (that's how he said it. i'm not sure how you spell it). yeah, that was a hell of a fight. after a few rounds, looked like ledwaba didn't know where he was. also, manny was a late sub. ledwaba was supposed to fight another opponent. talk about bad luck...

lol, that's a funny one, I think for now before anything else the PAC should take care of the 3Ms (Marquez, Morales, Marco) first....Originally posted by LuKahnLiI am sure that Manny Pacqaio is REAL scared of Ledwaba.
I mean, fighting JMM and calling out Barrera again? He is CLEARLY ducking Ledwaba.

Ledwaba? Give me a break. This is a guy coming off another decision loss to an unknown fighter before that. Baloyi is a good fighter, but like Philip N'Dou, he was untested and unproven and coming off another one of his trademark layoffs.Comment

I live in Johannesburg, South Africa and am able to help with info. Larry Merchant should have clued himself up before making a jackass of himself. Soweto, stands for South Western Township. In the old days, when SA was under the National Party Government, all Africans living & working in cities, stayed in what was referred to as townships.Originally posted by simeraksouin the fight, larry merchant was talking about how he's from a village in africa called soo-way-too (that's how he said it. i'm not sure how you spell it). yeah, that was a hell of a fight. after a few rounds, looked like ledwaba didn't know where he was. also, manny was a late sub. ledwaba was supposed to fight another opponent. talk about bad luck...
Rural Africans lived in their own villages, dotted throughout the country.
The townships in all major cities exist to this day and are occupied by millions of lesser off in financial terms, people.
I watched the fight. Ledwaba fought an extremely off form Baloyi. Even then, he was unable to capitalise. Both he and Baloyi are not worth feeding! Manny would KO either of them within 1 to 2 rounds. Yes, the judging on the night left a lot to be desired. Rematch on the cards next year? They say so. I for one, will not even waste my time watching that crap again. He is totally washed up! Even if he beats Baloyi, I certainly don't think that he relishes a rematch with Manny....No matter how good the purse is!
Ledwaba, a few years ago, looked great against mediocrity, until the Manny era transcended.Comment

I agree with Silverfox, I don't think Ledwaba is in the league of Manny Pacquiao now. Three years ago, yes but the way Manny has progressed by leaps and bounds, Ledwaba is lightyears away (so to speak) from even getting a fight with Manny let alone beat the guy who is reaching the peak form (physically and mentally) in his career. The writer who is probably from South Africa only wanted to get some attention of sort from the boxing readers for Ledwaba who ironically lost his recent fight against Baloyi.Originally posted by SilverfoxI live in Johannesburg, South Africa and am able to help with info.
