I agree with Teddy ATLAS about how ridiculous it is that Wlad cherry picks guys with only 25 fights to there name. He is like a vulture hunting a cub before it becomes a Lion. These inflated guys like Chagev and Ibragimov should prove themselves against each other First, instead of jumping into a slave contract and becoming bums.
In the early 2000s Wlad, Byrd, Vitali and Sanders tested themselves against each other before stepping up to the number 1 guy. Vitali emerged as the best from this bunch and got his title shot. It makes for better boxing when things are done the right way.
Solis/Adamek and Haye/Povetkin with the winners and losers facing off would be great for boxing. The best could get a shot at Wlads titles, and the 2nd best could face Vitali.
Imagine if this guy fought a prime Holyfield or Lennox in 1998? Fighters should be allowed to mature before being thrown to the wolves.
