Why was it so easy for Cotto to get a sit down with Mayweather, and Arum had to go through someone who he thought was in talks with someone else that might have been representing him.

If Floyd and Cotto want to co-promote then I think we will really see that fight.

What would b great is Cotto buying out his contract with the viper, Bob Arum, and then as you said a co promotion event between these two in PR. Cotto needs to get rid of Arum, who does not seem to have much interest in Cotto anymore. Then Ol Bob would really be hurtin if Margarito somehow KO's Manny, loses Cotto, misses out on promoting a super fight between the two hottest stars in the sport right now. Honestly that might be the most exciting scenario to completely shake things back up.

ok to face marquez now? says who? the consensus is marquez would get killed & there's no need to fight. pacquiao was praised for fighting hatton & oscar because he went up in weight. before pac took on david diaz, nobody in their right mind would have thought pac could take on ricky & oscar. pac was a career 130 & under fighter his whole career. he had one fight at 135 vs diaz then went up basically 3 divisions to fight oscar.

everybody labeled the fight a mismatch. until the bell ring.

floyd's been at welter since 2005. he started pro at 130. pac started pro at 106. was fighting at 130 in 2008.

Hmmmmmm.....

OSCAR was well passed it against FLOYD mate. He was 35-36yrs.old. He only had 8 GOOD rounds in him. FLOYD knows that and that's why he agreed to fight him just like MANNY. ROACH even said "do you think this fight would be happening if OSCAR was in his prime?" Fact of the matter is, he would have K.O.ed MANNY and outpointed FLOYD in his prime. The OSCAR that fought them no longer could bounce or move and fought mainly flat-footed and his stamina was shot. I just recently watched his entire career pretty much and I know how good he was. FLOYD brings up in every interview about how he beat THE BEST version of OSCAR and I just get pissed. You never hear him admit how passed it OSCAR and MOSLEY were when he fought them. If he and MANNY ever fights, MANNY will outpoint him and possibly stop him in my opinion. I like both guys but MANNY has the styke that FLOYD wants no part of.
