Ya i know ill stick a few shillings on him.Well i had Dirrell winning but i do understand he could and should have done more in that fight.He showed against Abraham he learnt from that fight stood in the pocket a bit more moved when he needed to not just for the sake off it.Ward as you say hasnt been tested yet Kessler was a mess in there fight and Green well the less said about that fight the better.Also another factor could be that the fight has a chance of landing in Detroit.See how Ward holds off against a hostile crowd in a big fight

I hope it lands in the D we will get to see how Ward reacts to that kind of pressure.This is going to be a real good fight.Another fight I want to see is Froch Ward the styles in that fight would be crazy.Overall I agree with ya post 100%.

Ward is an inside wrestler....I don't like his style. Dirrell will keep at the end of his longer, straighter punches and Ward will result to a headbutt attemt to get inside and grabbing Dirrell's arms to stop the attack. Dirrell will beat Ward by keeping him on the outside

Oh come on! Everyone and their uncle knows that Dirrel got jobbed against Froch. That was clearly a hometown decision. Only a Froch fan would think otherwise. And Froch's loss to Kessler serves him right. He complained just like Dirrel did, but I think he had a much lesser case than Dirrel. Kessler actually BEAT Froch. Froch didn't BEAT Dirrel. Heck, Froch didn't much of anything in that fight, except get exposed for his wide looping punches, lack of footwork, and complete lack of defense. In a loss, Dirrel completely exposed Froch for what he is: A wild brawler, with no real technical capacity.

If the fight is in D-Town, I'm gonna' go. I wish I would have saw Dirrel/Abraham, but I'm sorta' happy I didn't. Ward/Dirrel would be a great fight to watch live. The two favored Americans slugging it out in D-Town, the home of Kronk. Detroit has a very rich boxing heritage, and we need to keep it that way!

I got ward by a decent UD. I think ward is to smart for dirrell and will be able to adjust. Ward has the brains and technique.
