Comments Thread For: Tony Jeffries, Michael Banbula Battle To a Shocking Draw!

In a stunner at Rainton Meadows Arena in Houghton-le-Spring. British 2008 Olympian and (presumably) rising prospect Tony Jeffries (7-0-1, 5 KOs) was very lucky to get a hardly deserving draw against Britain-based Polish upset specialist Michael Banbula (10-25-4) over eight rounds.

              Was never a draw.

But Jeffries was hanging on for dear life in the final two rounds, and it was only an 8 rounder. Sad.

Tony Jeffries is nothing special anyway, as soon as he see someone half decent he'll get schooled.

                no need too.
                record speaks for itself.
Altho Britain has produced fabulous boxers in the past, the vast majority dont "make it" or meet expectations per se

I dnever seen anyone hype up Tony Jeffries other than his promoter.

And i hink youll find most boxers from anywhere dont meet expectations, so no need to go accusing one single country of overhyping fighters

Im not trying to downtalk a country . Im just stating that their not doing so well right now.(England i mean) They need another lewis, or hamed(altho he was a bit hyped). Those were awesome boxers.
