funny how ellerbe said "calling in to see what mayweather wants to do is not a negotiation"

as if none on their side even tried nor attempted to make this fight happen. He already acknowledged that they were contacted. What did his party do to contribute / make this fight happen? nothing? its as if they ducked it knowing their bluff got called.

also pretty sketchy about shaefer even uttering the "gag order", that in itself is an affirmation that both parties "negotiated" not to disclose contract details like the first one

also DLH retracting his statements with a 5 year old excuse. pretty pathetic.

they all suddenly sprouted and started spewing lies NOW that arum's signing pac with margarito.

Arum still lied though, even if there is some truth in what he said. A good liar never tells 100% lies, they use lies to color the truth in a light that benefits them.

Or do you consider Arum's statment the fight is a done deal to be a really accurate assessment of what the situation was?

Like Ellerbe said it is a matter of how one defines negotiations, of course Greenburg talked to both sides and was trying to make the fight. Now those three-way talks are certainly a form of negotiations, but if both sides really fail to truly get down to business to hammer out a deal then i can't call those real negotiations.

Now Arum is kind of telling the truth and he is kind of lying while GBP is doing the same thing, both sides are playing the same game.

I just don't think things got past second base, if they even got that far and that comes down to both sides.

What are you talking about, it ws always obvious that Greeburg was trying to make the fight and he knows how to get ahold of all those guys.

To one side they never got down to actually making the fight, sure they had some talks about it but if they feel they never got down to the business of actually making the fight what do you want them to say about the situation?

Call it what you want though because they certainly didn't work to make the fight happean though so you can be pissed at whoever all you want, but the situation is not black and white.

Just because they talked doesn't mean they negotiated. That is what that side is saying, can you or can you not understand that.
