He throws more punches than Clottey.

The only way Margarito might have a chance is if he walks through Pac's punches like so many expected ODLH and Hatton to, but it didn't happen with them and it's unlikely to happen with Margo.
Even if it did, I'm not sure he's quick enough to actually land on or catch Pac.Comment

Real pressure and cuts off the ring well. He will take Pac's best punches and will keep on fighting.Comment

What if while Margo was suspended he had steel plates implanted in his hands so nothing will be found in the wraps and he can get away with killing his opponents? No, seriously, this will be a more competitive fight than was Cotto vs Paq or Clottey vs Paq, Margo is harder to hurt than Cotto, maybe not as hard to hurt as Clottey, somewhere in between. I would also put Margo's punching power somewhere between Cotto's and Clottey's. The difference between Clottey and Margo is that Clottey played turtle so Paq didnt land a very high percentage. Margo will trade, thereby leaving himself open to Paq's punches. Like Margo or hate him, this could be a very interesting battle.Make a case for Margo to beat Pac..........
Im struggling to see what Marg can bring in order to beat Pac. I think based on Manny's fights with Cotto & Hatton, and to a lesser degree DLH and Clottey, that Pac is at his best playing sharp shooter against bigger, stronger, aggressive opponents that are going to pressure him, thing is, whilst Manny does not have the best footwork in the world, the best ring generalship, his feet are remarkably quick, which makes it hard to pin him down, on-top of that he is a sharp shooter with good speed and power, a guy who can nail you with sneaky punches on the way in, now Margarito's defense is terrible, infact you might say worse! than Hatton's, if thats possible.
I can see Marg getting peppered with combos, and i would not be surprised to see Manny hurt him with a sneaky punch he does not see, also, Manny, unlike Cotto, will not wear down and get tired, and let him back in the fight.Comment
