It would be really bad, but on the bright side, the Cotto-Margarito rematch would be even bigger.

I would say probably a bad thing just for the fact that the biggest fight possible would be all but dead. That being said I wouldn't mind it after all the bs us boxing fans have had to put up with.(Money VS Pac)
