Things like that happen when you fight Boxers in their PRIME. skills and weight-wise, JMM was absolutely prime. He's NEVER been better than when he fought Pacquiao in 2004, imo.
Pac was the underdog. He was in his 20's, "one dimensional", "one handed", and he faced one of the most technically sound boxer/combo-counter punchers there has ever been at his best weight (FW).
Just in case you're a Floyd fan....there are people here who will say that a PRIME Delahoya beats the Floyd that fought him in 07. You put in a '97-'99 Delahoya vs. 2006 Floyd...and Delahoya would be a huge favorite....and quite possibly the victor.
