The thing is with Froch is he tried to box against Dirrell and Kessler. Both of whom are better boxers, if he tries to box against Abraham he'll get some success.

froch would probably have knocked kessler out if he was more aggressive, instead he layed back and tried to box which isnt his strong suit. abrahams slow starts finally caught up with him aswell, i expect both to be more aggressive which will play into arthurs hands.

i also think frochs chin is way overrated, and if abraham lands a good shot with eighter hand the cobra goes to sleep. the fact that froch doesnt seem to realize that himself further plays into arthurs hands.

abraham is a much smarter fighter than ppl give him credit for, he starts so slow bcuz hes reading his oponents looking for openings. there isjnt a lack of openings when it comes to froch, and even though abraham isnt fast and throws wide punches his timing is so good he gets away with it. he will set froch up.

ppl talk about how froch could hold him of, i doubt it. froch has some of the ****ties defense i ever seen. hes gonna get caught in this fight.

Good point, thats whats worrying me, IMO Froch lost to Kessler because he essentially got outworked, so is he going to change up and be more aggressive this time to make sure the decision goes his way? as you said, that plays into AA hands.

Abraham certainly has a better jab than he gets credit for imo, plus, there were times in the Taylor fight (middle portion of the fight)where he Boxed quite effectively imo.

A major flaw in Froch's game, and there are many Lol, is that when he goes to work inside he does not rotate his body sufficiently enough, that in turn means when he turns his hooks over they come slow and wide, he also has a tendency to leave his chin in the air when doing this, no way will he get away with that against AA.

I got Froch because i got some good odds on the fight, although i expect him to lose, however i was listening to PB23's talk show and i thought to myself, could/will Abraham actually stop Froch? i mean when i think about the Taylor/Dirrell fights it makes me think hmmm............



To me Jermain Taylor is not just a poor finisher, he is also not a particularly hard puncher, he has fought 154/147 pounders and not been able to put them away, he hit Pavlik **** on the chin after rocking him with a temple shot, now i always thought to myself, if Taylor was any kinda puncher Pavlik would not of survived, irrespective of whether he is a good finisher, he caught Kelly enough to take him out imo, with all this said, Jermain Taylor buzzed Froch, had him voluntarily backing off toward the ropes and managed to drop him, Dirrell also buzzed him imo but did not capitalize on it, so it makes you think....

Whenever Froch has been stunned, hurt, buzzed, etc. it's because he gets caught lunging in and/or squared up. He did it against Taylor, Dirrell, and Kessler.

He's basically walking onto the full force of the shot. If he does that onto the end of an Abraham punch, I figure he'll get rocked.

Lol, cant believe he i still riding his luck, think about it, everyone virtually gave him no chance in this tourney, yet so far he has a win over Dirrell (controversial), a loss to Kessler (which i felt was a close debatable loss), can you imagine if he beats AA? jeez!, we will never hear the end of it.
