Aleksander Dimitrenko will face Yaroslav Zavorotny for the vacant EBU heavyweight title July 31 in Hamburg. Both men are from Ukraine. Zavorotny holds the EE-EU title but is a rather unknown force. The winner have Audley Harrison as mandatory challenger. Russian promoter German Titov won purse bids to stage Dimitrenko vs Denis Bahktov with a grand, perhaps too grand, offer for 260,000 EUR but is now unable to stage the fight and Dimitrenko vs Zavorotny was made on short notice.

Nothing wrong with Wlodarczyk taking the occasional softy defense, but Jason Robinson? He's fought three times in six years and hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse since 2001. Even Erdei wouldn't defend against him.
