...............as much as i dislike Oscar's latter career choices.........floyd's choices have been outright terrible..........................his competition from 140 up was just dismal.......hes comeback is a farce.....

    No doubt ,no doubt

    OSCAR >>>>> FLOYD

Even Floyd Sr. said that shot OSCAR beat his son,so probably prime OSCAR would KO Floyd!

    Who did Floyd fought?

No one since his loss to Castillo, and Hoya fought everyone left and right Quartey,Vargas,PRIME MOSLEY not 40 years old one,B-HOP,PACQUIAO,TRINIDAD,STURM and others?

Its tough to decide because Oscar fought all of the best through his career and lost all of his big fights where as Floyd has won every time but really only has about 4-5 meaningful wins.

Delahoya's resume is pretty damn impressive. His losses to (enhanced) Mosley II and Tito were both controversial.

but yeah...on paper, win or lose...Delahoya's resume surpasses Floyd's quite easily. Sorry guys, just the honest truth. There are HoF'ers and ATG's on Dela's resume.

        he fought.

undefeated Vargas, undefeated mosley, undefeated Tito, undefeated Quartey, undefeated Miguel Angel Gonzalez, 1 loss Pernell, 1 loss JCC (he was in decline, but still), undefeated Genaro Hernandez. lost to Bernard, but still fought him.

Floyd's resume looks absolutely NOTHING like Oscars. It's almost a joke, more like an offense, to compare them.

Vargas was not undefeated. I do admit that Oscar faught the better opposition though.

De La Hoya has the better resume. Floyd would probably most, if not all, of the fighters on Oscars resume though.

It's a shame we don't have anybody like Oscar anymore. Somebody that no matter what will get the big fights made and fight all the big name opposition. Always gave us our money's worth too.

I think legacy wise as far as competition faced I would say yeah. But skill wise and if he just would fight better opposition, Floyd Mayweather would take it.

Mayweather beat delahoja easy. Mayweather is undefeated. while hoja lost ALL his big fights!!!! hoja won titles against paez, ruellas, hernandez, bredahl, castillejo, all CLASS "C" FIGHTERS!!!! You can't compare hoja with FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR.
