I was sitting there almost yelling at Ouma to throw some STRAIGHT head punches...

I barely saw any straight punches to the head from Ouma...if there is any night to forget body punching, it was tonight...times later in the fight where Ouma would open up with straight head punches, Karmazin would retreat and Ouma would get a bit of an advantage...but for some reason he was not opening up and was throwing 90% to the body...

either way, Karmazin fought a great fight...cautious, but smart...he is a good counter puncher with pop...and a decent jab...my only grip with him is that he seems like he would be easy to hit which is what surprised me that Ouma was not opening up...

the now wide open 154lb division has a new champ and fighters like Vargas and Forrest better watch out...

Ouma spent WAY too much time in the first two rounds jabbing to the body, and he gave Karmazin way too much time to time his right hands and left hooks.

Later on I found myself calling for Kassim to get in his grill and try to smother his punches while attacking him inside, but I quickly realized that RK was the more active guy inside too. Kassim just didn't want this fight at all.

Much respect to Karmazin for showing up to fight. Ouma will bounce back though.
