After Tua vs Barett, there is no way Vitali should fight Briggs.

Tua had a lot of hype surrounding him, having been knocking over cans, much like Briggs.

but then Barrett exposed Tua, and the same will happen to brigs if he gets taken past round 3.

I know there isnt much out there but there must be better than briggs.

I know it's hard to believe, but Tua is probably even worse than Briggs at the moment. Tua's fights since 2005 have been awful [including a close fight with Salif], and it was obvious he was shot. Briggs, as bad as he has been, has at least been in with a couple of good heavyweights the past 4 years. Briggs has size and the ability to land. Maybe just for 2-3 rounds, but it's 2-3 rounds more than Tua would offer.

Briggs? As in Shannon? Is he really fighting a Klitschko?

Klitschko should just fight like 3 bums in one night like George Foreman did back in the day.

1 of the headlines on BS is Vitali saying he's looking further into a fight against Valuev. I'm at least a little intrigued by that fight.

That said, give Holyfield that payday, since he was robbed of the title against him. Not only that, but I think the Holyfield that showed up against Valuev (constant lateral movement, jumping in with left hooks and right hands, and solid defense) would give Vitali some trouble.

Briggs is younger than Vitali, and he's a dangerous puncher. Let's not forget his fight with Lyakhovich.

At least Briggs has been winning, He hasnt lost in like 3 years and although he's fought light competition. He's been knocking them out in the 1st round. Solis, Boystov, Povetkin arent anywhere near ready to fight a Klitschko and the people around them know it.

Realistically that leaves 2 big name guys that they could fight, Which is Adamek and Haye. Haye isnt interested in talking to the Klitschko's and Adamek already has a fight scheduled.

Briggs is the logical choice if Vitali can't agree with Valuev, Who I dont want to see him fight. But he's a big draw in Germany so that is why they are going for him.

Fuck Briggs and get Boytsov in there. At least he's undefeated and young. Nobody loses out if Vitali pounds him into dust.

On Vitali Klitschko's proposed bout with Shannon Briggs...

''I think it will be a more dangerous fight than people think.''

''I've sparred with him [Briggs] and he hits harder than anyone in the division, including Wlad.''
