Thats been the case for me right now, I have had a boxing coach but he hated teaching with a passion but did it because he was getting paid to do it.

So I found out a kicboxing coach that happend to be a real good strength and conditioing coach and thats why I seeked him and then realized he KNOWS his boxing footwork, how to step in and plant the feet and when to step in and etc... and he seemed VERY PASSIONETE about teaching just loves to engage it.

So I was thinking how Zab Judahs dad was a kickboxer and how well of a skillset zab has and got me thinking, have you met kickboxing instructors that know there boxing really well????

Obviously if you're getting trained by a guy who hates teaching with a passion he's not going to be very good no matter what he's training.

Personally? No I haven't, with regards to boxing my dad did coach me for the most part, obviously he was enthusiastic about it and the advice was sound.

With regards to kick boxing, the information they gave applied to kick boxing, you wouldn't exactly be able to apply it in boxing as the foundations for range, guard and defence are different. That being said, they could very well know their boxing well as there was never really a situation where they could show their knowledge.

Thats True for most part, the range and the stance is a bit different. I guess seeing how Zab Judah had a kickboxing dad and him being pretty successful under his fathers tutlelage and myself going through changes with a different coaching I thought I throw that out there.
