    Saleta to "rush" golota.........

    Rivalry

"Once I read that he said he'd fight me in the streets but not in the ring,'' said Saleta, who retired from boxing for two years before returning to the ring in April. "I've wanted it for years, and fans have wanted it for years. He's not ******. He must realize the pressure will be on him, and he doesn't take pressure [well].''

Although Golota has made a name for himself in the United States, especially here in his adopted hometown, Saleta is a far bigger star back home. Asked if he thinks Golota is jealous of his status in Poland, Saleta, who has a career record of 42-6 with 21 knockouts, suggests you ask "Andrew'' that question.

Asked if he plans to rush Golota immediately when the two meet in August, Saleta nods. Yep, he saw how Lamon Brewster knocked Golota out just 53 seconds into their fight at the United Center in May. Yep, he remembers how Lennox Lewis did the same thing to Golota in 1997.

"I've got to give it a try,'' Saleta said, suppressing a smile. "That seems to be the thing to do.''

saleta has been koed in first round more times than golota.
expect a head on war that ends with saleta tasting canvas
multiple times. total mismatch even with golotas mentality

This is golota we are talking about. He is not training hard at all and saleta has a chance to revitalize his carrer. I am a golota fan and I expect him to screw this "Give me" up as well.

well, golota has performed well in the past:
battering rid**** bowe from pillar to post on two occasions.
knocking down michael grant twice in the first before quitting in the 10th.
took chris "duck" byrd to a 12 round draw, a fight that many though golota won.
knocked down john the bum ruiz twice in the 2nd, another fight many thought golota won.

but of course there's his ****-ups:
get blasted out in 1 against lewis.
              ditto for brewster.
              quit against grant.
              quit against tyson.
              DQd twice against bowe.

but since saleta is a c class fighter and golota is known to handle everybody below the b class, i say golota by TKO.

I never saw Saleta fight but he does hold a win over Luan Krasniqui in 2002. A guy that is position to fight Brewster for the WBO title right now. So he is not a soft opponent. Golota will probably win though, King makes alot of money off Golota.

Saleta was KO'd in the first round Krasniqui in teh rematch. I think Golota will probably knock out this top 120 ranked fighter.

Why can't you believe it? Its going to be an undercard on the Rahman fight and they are both Polish so Don King knows he needs Polish fighters to fill up the Chicago Center. Easy Call? Think before you talk. It's a decent fight. At least they are not giving Golota another title shot for no reason.
