Would you be surprised if Mayweather vs. Cotto is made for December?

Manny would be making a mistake by fighting Margarito... I really don't think that fight will even do better than the clottey fight if its made I would put my points on it. Cotto at 154 is his only option or go for a Berto or even Bradley. The Margarito fight would only hurt his credibility. With that being said I would be surprised if Arum let Cotto fight Floyd while Manny fights Margarito.

If Berto utilized his speed more and used combinations, I'd say Cotto could be in trouble. But even with the level of opposition Berto's faced up till now, Cotto IMO is still leagues above Berto's best win (Collazo or Quintana?). I see Cotto's jab being a big problem for Berto since he really doesn't move around too much and Berto likes to clinch when he's in trouble which I don't see Cotto letting happen. I expect a good scrap, but I see Berto getting beat up to a late stoppage.

Just to throw this out there...

Cotto IS undefeated against other fighters who were undefeated when they fought Cotto. Food for thought lol.

Yes. It's Pac or nothing right now. Floyd had his share of reasons not to fight Cotto 2 years ago. Surely he has no interest in doing it now.
