Once Manny got the wins at welterweight, and Floyd returned to challenge him, there were very few Pacquiao fans who wanted Manny to face Floyd. They sort of realized the outcome of that matchup.

NOW, because of the sidetrack in negotiations and Floyd's insistence on OST's they're saying he's scared of Manny.

But yet, he fought the guy Manny refused to fight and beat him.
It's been clear from these forums that Floyd fans are more interested in seeing their idol gain advantage outside of the ring than inside of it. But it's over now. Anything Floyd fans say becomes irrelevant because Floyd has already spoken. He finally said he is not interested. Most likely because he feared he will be exposed eventually for pretending he wanted the fight. He's dead if Pac team agreed to everything.

Roach finally got it by saying Pac needs to call Mayweather's bluff.

Even Floyd Pac nego terms aren't simple: purse cut, OST's, etc.
But what is very simple, and sets it apart from other previous
      contract negotiations are NOT terms.

      It's this:
Just 5 months after talking a big, loud game about an easy win
against Manny in the ring, and finally getting his terms, Floyd is
not interested in fighting at all.

You can focus on terms, and back the pure faggotry of moving
the goalposts every time your opponent agrees to your terms:
a truly dishonest argument, because Floyd's not even doing that!
He's not on about terms not being met, or Pac's offer being bad.

      He's just walking away.
      Uninterested in boxing.

      h.
There were hardly any terms according to recent reports.

Shane was smart not to want to come in at a catch-weight. That's how Manny wants to get his edge by making fighters weigh-in below full welter weight. That's not surprising.

IF Pac Team agreed to everything, we'd be waiting for the date of the fight at this moment.

And that's EXACTLY what Shane Mosley did. Called Floyd's buff by taking and passing the tests without complaining, while at the same time promoting more thorough testing procedures to help keep the sport clean.

Manny could have done the same and proved he is the better fighter at welter weight. But it's not so much about Manny as it is about Bob keeping the money in-house.

Floyd was right for not fighting many dangerous fighters in his career. If you were his manager you would want your fighter to retire undefeated too. Taking risks is too dangerous. That is why I approve the proposed matches with Erik Morales and Paul Malignaggi. Sure wins are the way to go!
