He said that a WHILE ago.

I think it was D33pwaters who posted 3 months ago. Floyd has always said after the Mosley fight that his return date is December.

Don't know why everyone is shocked.

Less talented?Berto is faster and more skilled then Cotto.Don`t let his last fight fool you. He`s better then what you saw in his last fight.Just watch alot of his older fights.

This is hilarious! So Gayweather does not want to fight right now because he's in vacation (translation= I don't want to fight Manny at all so i can use this as an excuse for the proposed November fight.), but i'm going to fight in December (translation= Right after Manny fights in November so i can avoid fighting him in Nov. and next year as well, since i'll be fighting in Dec.).

Go ahead *****s, defend this ****.

In order to be ready for next May to fight Manny,
Therefore Manny has another chance to fight and get good PPV numbers so when they go to the negiotating table 50/50 HOPEFULLY won't be a problem.
Quite amusing how some try to justify and argue on behalf of Mayweather like they know him personally. The only conclusion that can be judged from this is that Mayweather, for whatever reason, does not want to fight Pacquiao (who wants very much to fight Mayweather). The only people losing out are boxing fans, and boxing fans defending and praising Mayweather for being unwilling to fight are helping ruin the sport.

LOL at people thinking martinez is a legit option for floyd. The general public don't know who sergio is. how whould they market him? Plus he's way too much of a risk.

Berto on the other hand, at least he's undefeated. They"ll market that well. 2 undefeated fighters. Berto is less of a risk than sergio.

But LOL at fighting right after pac. What a clown

              Miguel Cotto-
Battered with Bricks by Margarito, Lucky against Clottey

Joshua Clottey- Was beaten by previous Opponent, One good Career win against washed up Past prime Zab Judah.

              Floyd Mayweather Jr:

Zab Judah- Less then ONE year before fight Zab was Undisputed WW champion.

Carlos Baldomir- WBC, IBA, IBO WW title on the line, Number One WW at the time,

Ricky Hatton- Just KO'd Castillo (Who gave Floyd trouble TWICE), Called Floyd out and was undefeated at the time.

Juan Manuel Marquez- Arguably beat Manny twice, Ranked P4P #2 at the time.

Shane Mosley- Just Ko'ed Margarito (who destoryed Cotto) who Manny fought, also ranked #1 WW at the time.
RICKY HATTON he fought @ a higher weight
RICKY HATTON @ 140 un-beaten natural weight demolished by PAC

JMM we fought @ 2 division higher FMJ CHEATED penalized JMM CAME from a BLOODY war against DIAZ and CASAMAYOR soften up obviously

JMM is OLD and in-effective @ w.w we all know that

SHANE MOSLEY he ducked for almost a DECADE has a 1 1/2 year layoff
SHANE MOSLEY is already past his prime against MAYORGA.. Gas out @ round three poor OLD mosley. MARGA is a cheater he could have use it against COTTO w/o the wraps he was KTFO

ZAB JUDDAH - over RATED bum KTFO by Kostya Tszyu

You can always find excuses in both of their resume but by par PAC has the more dominating wins @ W.W and take note he is the SMALLER GUY!!!!

Wouldn't it be badass to see Cotto-Margarito II on the undercard for Mayweather-Pacquaio in 2011?

So out of 3 fights since him coming out retirement, 2 of them would be tune up fights? And you're ok with this? HA
