THats how PBFs has got success. SSM was rusty waiting to fight PBF, but being active didnt do SSM any favours because its wear and tear because come fight night he hadnt fought for ages as well just like PBF. But PBF didnt have many fights so has the advantage if you get what i mean.
That would make Floyd a part-time fighter as well. He is 33 years old and past his best physically. Wear and tear affects Floyd as well. He has a lot of miles on that body.

Good activity according to one of the old-timers is to fight at least 1 fight every 3 months minimum. But few do that anymore. And fighters that are over 30, it just might be different because you don't recover as fast. Well, at least most of the fighters since some have proven that they are still youthful. Today's athletes can take advantage of nutrition, science, etc. to help them out.

SSM wouldn't have been "rusty" as you say/think if Pac would have stepped up to the plate and fought him all of last year when Shane wanted it after he destroyed Margarito.
Instead, your "busy" Pac fought the likes of Post-KO'd Hatton, and Post-KO'd Cotto. Good job.
