I will gauge how well the sport of boxing is doing financially by this fight.

For 2 fighters both coming off losses to be put on a PPV..... if they sell well then that means boxing is doing dandy.

If they sell poorly, like I think they will, boxing is on a decline financially.

I feel 400,000+ strong. Marquez is most exciting fighter behind pacquiao.

I can't imagine the show doing real well. A ppv between Marquez, a fighter that han't won in a year and a half and Diaz, who only won one of his last four bouts.

It does have real solid undercard however.

I'd hope so. I know they haven't been the best fighters as of late but they've been billing it as "Fight of the year, The Rematch". I think it'll do 200-300K. Its a rematch of an exciting fight with a great undercard so I'd hope so.

If it does not than it shows boxing is really on the hurt
