Why did Arum need a mediator if he was agreeing to all Floyd wanted , why not contact the Mayweathers directly , he had no trouble in March , if he had a good offer he could have presented it himself , this is all Arums bull**** to fight another inhouse fighter , just like last time where Clottey was signed in a day lol prolly really signed a week earlier , how the *** can you negotiate and not contact the people in power , agreeing now to an offer they walked away from in March , lol , why should Floyd take it now , Floyd blows him away in PPV numbers again since that offer was taken off the table , its a new landscape .

Its obvious Arum wants an inhouse career for Pac to milk him as much as possible before he fights Floyd and is beaten and Arums cash cow retires , Arum wants Floyd as Pacs last fight , Bob the dairy farmer .

pretty dumb to ask. if you want to ask that, you might as well ask why floyd didnt approach arum directly.

The reason is, he's not interested in boxing. you can also probably add that he never wanted the fight in the 1st place.

But blame arum for trying if it makes you feel better. Of course none of this is floyds fault for doing nothing, and finaally admitting he doesnt even want to box

this. too much fan boyism in this thread. I will say this though, if Floyd had that big of a problem why being silent and not try to negotiate and come to a middle ground instead of saying "my way or the high way". I'm really tired of this and Pac vs Margarito will be a war and hopefully Manny will face Martinez/Angulo or someother top guy at 154 next.

Arum actually didn't contact Mayweather directly in Nov-Jan. He was negotiating through Richard Schaefer. Mayweather cannot contact Arum directly because he hates him. Arum cannot contact Haymon directly because Arum hates Al Haymon. What I don't understand is why Arum didn't negotiate with Schaefer like before. And if Greenburg was the mediator between Arum and Haymon, why isn't he being interviewed?

Why 154? So he can fight for an 8th world title that came with an asterisk? The guy can't even make 147 and you want him to fight at 154? He should be facing Berto or Bradley. He could even go down to 140 and clean out the division. But you know, Arum isn't going to do that type of ****. He's going to protect the hell out of Manny. He's going to protect him like the Wagyū cash cow that he is.

you honestly think fighting Angulo or Martinez next spring is "protecting" Manny from guys like Berto or Bradley? I'm just curious to see if you are actually implying this or if I'm misinterpreting what you just posted.

Not contacting Mayweather was meaning as I said the people in power , which is Schaefer or Haymon , he could have gone to Schaefer if he didnt like Haymon which is like you said very strange ,, I agree I would like to hear Greenburgs version , seems to me this deal and talks was conducted like anything but the biggest fight in history , I dont trust Arum at all he gets caught out lying about important things all the time .

Truth is we don't know what the offer was, but if they agreed to Mayweathers demands (like Pacquiao fans claim) why didn't Arum want to talk about it when asked.

I meant that Arum is going to protect Manny from anyone who's not in his stable. Would I like seeing Manny fight Martinez or Angulo? Hell yeah. Manny fighting both those guys just means he doesn't give a **** who he's fighting. But he's coming in at huge disadvantages and if there's one thing about Arum and his fighters, he doesn't like giving them disadvantages.

I don't get why people are saying Arum will only let Manny fight his fighters. 4 outta Manny's last 8 opponents have not even been Top Rank fighters. No disrespect but it chaps my @ss to see so much false info clinged to like it's the gospel truth.
