I agree that Green is not all that, but Roy taking a dive? Why would Jones take a dive and put his rematch and payday against Hopkins on jeopardy just to put over some Australian journeyman. It's not like Roy is bankrupt.

Jones has more integrity and respect for boxing and its traditions more than any top fighter around nowadays and that includes the guy on a quest to clean up the sport by "leveling the playing field."

No chance. Roy's last chance at a payday was his already planned fight against Hopkins. He actually lost that fight when he got KOd, but because Hopkins-Green broke down over Bernard not wanting to fight in Austrialia, Roy was lucky enough to get the slot back.

Roy's just shot. He's been that way for a while.

Danny Green deserves a fair share of the blame for what happened last night. But it was Briggs who took the dive.

Keep in mind Briggs and Green were friends before this fight. I imagine their friendship is irreparably damaged. Briggs had a good job commentating for Main Event where he was an excellent analyst and well respected. I can't imagine them ever using him again.

You hear a lot of rumours and bull**** on the internet, and there was a lot circulating concerning Briggs in the last couple of weeks. Little things that didn't make sense separately, but when added up and in hindsight of the disgraceful events last night, make a whole lot more sense now.
