oh that's right. there were no re-negotiations happening when floyd made these remarks. so apparently this statements or demands by him could be disregarded too right? in any case, him making these statements only shows how he wants to make any future negotiations harder to happen.

no it doesn't. if it didn't work the first time through a judge mediator it sure as hell wouldn't work if they sat on the same table face to face.

Yes he wants the fight more than anyones, but he doesn't sign their checks. The promoters do. HBO is a partner. Ross was "negotiating", but prob only for HBO. Obviously, I don't know and I wasn't there.

From every credible thing I've read, testing and money were the most pressing issues. Ross has NO POWER to negotiate these issues for either side. He can try and nudge both sides into an agreement, but in reality, HE IS AN OUTSIDER IN BOTH CAMPS!

I belive Ross talked to al. Again, ross has the power to negotiate only those issues directly pertaining to HBO where he is employed. I believe he asked both parties to abide by the gag order. Clearly Bob didn't pay him any mind.
