You know, it's really odd but I just can't believe that was a dive. It actually did happen a similar way early in his career. He was knocked out by some absolute bum who had six fights in his whole career and I think his only KO was of Briggs, the iron chinned world title contender? Come on! Someone would laugh if I said that. But, it's true. Briggs was knocked out by a nobody early who had zero punching power (Malignaggi punching power) on in the same way and then never again until now.
Go back and look over Briggs' career, I know the guy somewhat well and the straight up fact of the matter is he would not have done that unless something happened to him. He would not have done it.
Not only that but that is not how you even take a dive. You don't dive on the first jab of the night. If it was a fixed fight they would have said "You get 250,000 for taking a beating (because let me tell you Briggs can take a serious punch if ever someone could) and then going down in the seventh, eighth, ninth" If it was fixed you don't have someone go down in the first 29 seconds! You ****ing idiots! You lose every cent!
