Whos to say who deserves what? The most desevring fighter based on accomplishments would be Sergio Martinez and he would love to fight at 54 but he is in the Freddy Roach "too good" club so that wont happen. The point is that fans should want to see manny fight the best possible opposition out there and not some pre-determined fight period. I thing Timmy B or Devon the Dude or even Berto would be interesting to see if Manny can blow them out too. Cotto 2; not interested and do you really think Margo has a chance in hell to beat Manny? In and out all day, get in and work and get out, and Bob Arum knows this. U think he will put manny in a fight he can lose with potential big paydays down the road? No way, just another pre-determined top rank pocket liner will be manny's next fight. Ill catch the live stream or replay.Comment

timothy bradley won't beat pacquiao right now. i like the guy he is humble, but he should prove himself with other top contenders. margarito against pac makes more sense at 154 no draining of energy there.Comment

You pac fans are just scared to see Pac face a guy who isn't shot or old. You know Bradley is undefeated, young, strong, fast and knows how to box. That spells danger for Pac. His fans know this and Bob Arum knows this and Freddie Roach knows this. So you all make excuses oh this guy isn't ready, he's not proven. Give me a ****in break. It just proves that you aren't boxing fans. Your Manny Pacquiao fans.Comment

I've been saying this - Pacman at 140 lbs will be a monster and will kill everyone no exception. Pacman at 147 will be KO monster for natural 147s and will kill everyone who's trying to make weight! But I for one want to see Pacman murder Bradley than KOing eighter Cotto or Margarito! 1st degree murder.. Pacman's hand puncturing thru Bradley's enormous head!!Comment

Bradley deserves a big fight. It would be a war between him and Manny. If he traded with Manny he would get crushed, but I think he's too smart for that.Timothy has the same tools that Marquez have and is much younger. He is capable of pulling off the upset. It would be huge for boxing. Then, a fight with Devon, Maindana, or Khan would be much more meaningful. That would be a passing of the torch.Bradley would be the man and fighting him would put these other guys in the lime light. Manny and Floyd need to understand this. You have to give back to the sport that gave you this opportunity.Boxing is the sport that made you famous and rich. You give back by fighting these younger fighters so that their name can be put on the map and the world can recognize them.In reality, that's what De La Hoya did for them.Did he really have to fight those guys? Hell no! He's the Golden Boy and would have made the same millions fighting someone of a less threat. Its the same with Sugar Ray Leonard when he fought Terry Norris.Did he have to fight Terry? Hell no! He is the Sugar Man.But by these 2 guys fighting the young lions coming up, it started a new generation and kept the excitement in boxing. Now its time for Manny and Floyd to do the same thing. Give these young guys an opportunity. Its up to them to prepare themselves and be ready for it. But win, lose, or draw, if they rise to the occassion, they will become one of the elite. That will set up 5 or 6 years of new rivalries amongst their peers and give boxing a shot in the arm. Come on Floyd! Come on Manny! If you're not going to help the sport by fighting each other, then do it by fighting the younger guys: Berto, Bradley, Maindana, Khan, Alexander.Comment

To see if Bradley really deserves a shot at Pacquiao, they should put that poll on a sports site, like ESPN.com or something and not a Boxing website. At least that way, you would get the casual fan voting as well as boxing fans and get a non-biased result. And if Tim Bradley wins on that poll, then scumbag Arum cannot dismiss it...Comment

I know Arum just comes up with these excuses because he wants to keep the money within Top Rank. In all honesty, I can't blame him. If Bradley was a big enough draw like a Mayweather or Mosley fight, I'm sure this fight would happen. For a Pacquiao fight to happen Bradley has to either: 1) Fight some big name boxers in the next 2 years and make a name for himself outside of the boxing community. or 2) Leave his promotion company and sign with Top Rank. Either way, if Bradley gets to fight Pacquiao, Timmy is going to get pounded on.Comment
