    Cotto should retire.

Me being Puerto Rican , I will root for Cotto hands down , everytime he fights.

    he is not shot.

But a Pacquiao rematch serves nothing for him unless he has like 2 tuneup fights , where he can implement a new style and not only that , but where he can show he has a better defense , and has improved his chin and speed dramatically. Also his stamina.

The only fight I support for him is a margarito rematch.

I want him to fight margarito , and try to avenge his loss.

If he cant win , well at least he tried.

But if he is staying at 154 , then go for martinez , or p.will , angulo.

**** giving pacquiao another title so his fans can mamar even more.

He should just retire if hes doing it for the money,

Fight Margarito and avenge ur loss.

    OR

fight the big names at 154.

Foreman didnt prove nothing but that u can break down a boxer.

Fight Margarito , fight the big ones at 154 or retire.

You did enough , you fought everyone , and u did it clean.

    You don't make sense

You want him to avenge his loss to Margarito, but if its against Pac he should retire

    ?

Shouldn't ALL fighters be lauded for their attempt to get back that 'L'? It may be a vain attempt against someone so powerful and fast...but much respect if he does do it. He's willing to face another L and ass whupping to erase that loss.

I guess I just don't understand your point. I'm a big Cotto fan and would love for him to avenge both defeats, even though I'm not sure he can win them (especially Pac)

I don't think he should fight Pac again but retire? really?

He has only lost twice and neither time was he badly KTFO but both times was stopped on his feet.

He looked good against Jennings + 7lbs last time out and though he isn't great himself, lets see how this goes and what improvements Manny can make before we write the book on Cotto's career.

There are plenty of winnable fights for him at both 147 and 154.

He was whooping on Marg before he gassed out.

            He had a chance.

Against pac , he needs to be faster in all aspects , foot hand , defense. He cant stand there and trade , and thats exactly what he wants.

Or go for the big ones at his new weight.,

I would be delighted if Cotto could prove me wrong and handle a pressure fighter with power.

It's his choice what he wants to do, he can fight on if he wants.

I admire him for who he's fought, (he didn't **** around with that) but not how he's fought at times.

He can beat Pac with more discipline. When he fought a controlled fight, he was hitting Pac. He lost his smarts when he realized that Pac is a hard puncher and can take a punch. JMM isn't fast, he fights controlled and isn't ****** into a fire fight...Cotto had success within the first 6-7 rounds when he slowed the pace, however, by then...the damage was done.

He has a corner man that will keep him in line and give instructions. Don't get ****** into Pac's style of fighting and he can win. As for Margarito, if its at 154, I don't give Cotto much of a chance because Margarito will still be able to take those hits...I think Cotto softened him up alot, but Margarito will still be able to walk him down. If he fights upright like Steward had him, instead of hunched over in that peek-a-boo defense, then who knows...

I would like another fight under steward, then go after Pac and Margarito and at least attempt...
