    Is boxing Dead?

This whole back and forth between Pac and PBF is ridiculous. How can this fight fail again? I don’t care who is at fault. What I do know is that we the fans are screwed out of a super fight. This is why UFC is kicking boxing ass! Look at the ****ty fights coming up on HBO.

Last year we had some sick fights and boxing was supposedly reviving itself, now its just whack again. The whole negotiations BS is just too off putting; if by any means its a way to promote the fight, they've done a terrible job. They've done nothing but damage each others creditability.

UFC is doing no such thing, MMA is blowing up, yes, it has been, but boxing is here to stay.

Now as for the fights, yes this year they have been crappy, but boxing has alot of new comers who will shine even more than they have, next year listen for names like Bradley, Alexander, Maidana, Ortiz, Angulo, Breto, Guzman to name a few

when the opportuntiy for PBF to prove hes the best comes along and he dont want it. Something is seriously wrong with the sport. How someone cant just force PBF to fight Pac is beyond my understanding of basic sport rules and politics.
In snooker, or tennis you play the best person or team. In boxing you cant sidetrack opponents which i dont understand and never will do. THis he belongs to that promoter or that guy i dont understand that terminology.

All PBF has to do is take punches from gloves. Its not like pac will kick him and choke him like in MMA.

Boxing will always be around. But certainly arent that many great fights to look forward to on a regular basis.

boxing will never die, but all these boxers ducking other boxers is ruining the sport. just a few years ago big fights were getting made, but the climate has changed and the big fights aren't there anymore.

This is why I believe if boxing wants to develop further as a sport it needs a single governing body. None of this WBO WBA WBC KGF crapp, just boxing, and championship belts.

The concept is easy, the execution is hard.

You guys are such women. One fight didn't get made. And it still probably will at some point in the future anyway.

there aren't any elite fighters other than PBF and Pac. promoters aren't willing to put their fighters at risk, and so the fighters aren't training as hard as they should be.
