mayweather snr: Ali would beat klits to death and the division is ****

CIANI: What’s your opinion of the two guys that are widely considered the best right now, the two Klitschko brothers?

MAYWEATHER: Them guys, I don’t really want to get in too deep on them either, because I’m not going to say what’s what and what ain’t what. But my understanding is they’re doing their little thing too when it comes to things like—you know. You know what I mean. Those guys right there to me, I don’t think even as small as Ali was back then, I’m going to be honest. I think somebody like Ali, I mean we’re in a different era right now don’t get me wrong. We ain’t got nobody in the era to beat them guys right now and those guys, they don’t want to be tested for nothing. I mean that’s what I hear. I don’t know, but I heard them guys don’t want to be tested for nothing. But even back then, even a guy as small as Ali who was 215, 212, or whatever. He would have killed a guy like that, man. He would run circles around him and beat him half to death. It would have been no different than when he fought Ernie Terrell. When Ali beat Ernie Terrell, it wouldn’t be no different. It would be a great big old building come tumbling down. It’s the same thing.
I know that one guy is gonna get on his 10 accounts now and start spouting how the klits are the greatest of all time, would be fun seeing it again.

    Mayweather SR is right.

Ali would beat both Klitschkos with relative ease.

Guessing he is specifically talking about Pre-exile Ali who still had all of his speed, stamina, legs, and punch-out-put since he mentioned the Ernie Terrell fight.

Ali would clearly beat the klitschkos. Speed kills.

I agree with him on Ali beating the Klits but saying the HW division is pure **** is unfair coz we have at least 6 or 7 excellent HW out there like Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Povetkin, Boytsov, Adamek.

I think a lot of people are racist when they talk **** about Wlad and Vitali. Lennox Lewis was the same kind of fighter and got more respect than both of them. ( even though Lewis didn't get the same kind of respect a fat yank would get).

I think Ali would give Vitali a real headache, constantly resetting him and attacking him off the angles, VK is not particularly good on the front foot imo, much better as a counter puncher with the opponent attacking him.

Wlad would prolly give Ali some trouble because of his cautious style and patience, Wlad does not commit unless he is 100% sure he will land, plus id hazard a guess he would have a reach advantage over Ali, so Ali would have to contend with getting past that jab, also, Wlad might not have to worry so much about getting hit against Ali, of coarse Ali is a sneaky puncher who can hurt guys with good chins, but generally not regarded as a puncher, not to say he could not take Wlad out though, dont know, its a tough call, stylistically Wlad would give him major problems imo, Ali would have to find a way to be defensive whilst not trying to drop rounds through inactivity.

You would have to say Ali based on levels, Wlad has never beaten anyone on that level, although i would certainly not say its a fight Wlad could not win, he could imo.
