  • Everyone knows that Floyd sells PPV's and technically is
a bigger draw than Manny BUT Manny is fighting more and
actually getting his hands dirty in the ring. If Floyd fought
more than he would undoubtedly be considered the best.
I respect his skills as a boxer/fighter but someone as talented
as Floyd should fight more. It's getting hard for me to support
Mayweather if he doesn't give a **** about the fans. Manny
is no angel either with his crew of yes men and wannabe boss's.
What happened to the sport of boxing? No one is really fighting
anymore. Just over pricing and putting too much value on themselves.
It's crazy to see where the sport came from til now.

No it doesn't. I can see why he wouldn't reveal the proposed contract just like i can see why he didn't go after Floyd this time. He wants to make sure that both sides will not have any animosity towards each other and protect both fighters from any criticism, it's better to keep it civil and hopefully they'll eventually get a deal done. BTW, according to Sugar Q, there have been specifics about the proposed contract, but only Sugar Q knows this, no one else, not even Manny or Floyd.

How can those claims from Ellerbe be "Bizarre" if Arum never negotiate directly with anyone from Team Mayweather.....Despite claiming to have agreed a proposal with them on the 30th of June.
Well, you may disagree with me on this, but i don't think Arum contradicted himself or lied in this case. True, he never directly talked to team mayweather, because he claims that he negotiated with them through Greenburg.

And according to Arum, Greenberg talked to Haymon who is Mayweather's manager. And it was generally assumed that the gag order Greenberg imposed was directly because of the negotiations going on for the Pac/floyd fight.

At this point in time, i cannot really say WHO is lying. Maybe both camps are, maybe both are telling PART of the truth.

So i guess i'll just issue a gag order on myself not to point any fingers until everything is cleared up and everyone involved whether directly or indirectly has their time to share their side in this whole sordid mess.

Its becoming ridiculous especially from Mayweather's side, Pac fought in May 2009..November 2009>>>March 2010 and now November 2010, Thats what i want to see from the best fighters in the world.

I hate all this diva like attitude, Its not helping anything and i hope we can get more "star" because at the moement we look like we are starving of quality, star boxers.

LOL!!! You're a jackass. I don't know, and i never said i did. That's my point douchebag. You're the moron that's embarrassing himself claiming that you know exactly what's in the contract when the contract was never revealed. Think bro, think.

i dont think bob and ross will go to those lengths because there still hopes that the fight can get made. Elerbee just blatantly said one of the 2 is lying. Why say this after months of news and press coverage.

July 19 - In an interview by Chris Robinson from Examiner.com, Jeff Mayweather said “He [Pacquiao] agreed to random testing up to 14 days. I never knew that random had a cutoff. So basically if you don’t have a cutoff, it doesn’t mean it’s random at all. That’s why the negotiations went down. It was the same as before.”

                July 7 - http://fighthype.com/pages/content7919.html
They stopped taking blood 18 days before [Mayweather-Mosley], so that shows that they can do it and be fine,” Arum would tell Lance Pugmire of the LA Times, explaining why he believes 14 days should be sufficient to satisfy Mayweather’s demands. We’re saying the same thing, that if there’s information that emerges in the final 14 days, we can go to the [state boxing] commission and ask for more tests. We can work it out. No one’s looking to pull any fast ones.

                July 17: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/spor...ao-boxing.html
Pacquiao didn't want to submit to blood tests too close to a fight, his camp said. Pacquiao budged on the issue during these talks, moving from a 24-day cutoff of blood testing to 14 days. But all along the Mayweather camp has been silent.

July 15 - http://fighthype.com/pages/content7987.htmlIt should be noted that despite the fact that Mayweather has insisted on random blood testing up until the day of the fight, Pacquiao has only agreed to a 14-day cutoff for random blood testing.

Oh that, Arum. So clever. Telling ESPN: Pacquiao has accepted the terms, including provisions for drug testing (blood and urine) leading up to the bout.

Leading up to the bout? You guys are such easy prey, man.

I just dont like the "I thought was negotiating with them through someone else" quotes, Anyways i hope this divas can sit down especially with the "Am taking a vacation" coming from Mayweather.

Well, we MIGHT get a Pac/Marg fight this november. Now i know that EVERYONE would prefer Pac/Floyd (myself included), but though i would definitely have preferred a TBradley/Pac fight as a consolation, at the very least, Pac/Marg would most likely be an interesting fight.

So tell everyone there is a deal in place, but don't release the details so you can make sure that both sides will not have any animosity towards each other and protect both fighters from any criticism, it's better to keep it civil and hopefully they'll eventually get a deal done.

Then put a clock on the website counting down time. Then hold a 3 AM presser saying floyd didn't sign so we are looking for other options. Then go on the radio telling the same story yet never show what was signed. How, without any facts, do you just blindly believe Bob Arum?
