A gameplan on how boxing can finish 2010 with a ****!!!!!!!!!

Let's face facts. So far, 2010 has been a ****ty year for us boxing fans and it got a lot more ****ty when Pac/Mayweather fell apart again. Let's hope third time is a charm in 2011. Now that us boxing have come to a reality about that fight let me give my plan on how to rescue 2010 from going down as one of the worst fight years in history. First, we start off with Pacquiao because I don't think Floyd is fighting again this year. Unfortunately, we only get two choices for his fight on November 13th; Cotto or Margarito. Obviously, the choice is Margarito because another Cotto fight is a waste of time. Even though I believe Margarito doesn't deserve a shot at Pacquiao, we know this fight will be a war and somebody is leaving that ring a bloody mess. Now, to the interesting fights. The second fight I make is a rematch between Sergio Martinez and Paul Williams for the middleweight strap. Not much to be said, but the first fight was a classic and the second fight should be no different. Since Pacquiao has a dance partner, the third fight I make is Cotto vs Angulo for the JM strap. Another classic chapter in the Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry. All these fights leave out another great fighter without an opponent; Andre Berto. That's where Josh Clottey steps in. I think Berto vs Clottey would be a good fight and the toughest test to date for Berto. Next I would look at the Marquez vs Diaz fight on July 31st and if Marquez wins I would match him with Amir Khan at 140. I think the Mexican Warrior will give Khan the fight of his life. Finally I would make Madiana vs Bradley and Devon Alexander vs Zab Judah. This would hopefully set up Bradley vs Alexander for the first half of 2011. BTW, I think Pavlik vs JCC Jr. would also be an entertaining strap for December. This is my gameplan/roadmap for rescuing the rest of this year. Let me know what you think!

Thanks. Boxing needs action fights right now because the casual sports fan is really down on the sport over the Pacquiao/Mayweather debacle.

The Martinez-Williams rematch isn't happening because Paul scared away to 147 because he doesn't want anything to do with Martinez.

147 is kinda dead right now, Manny should either go back down to 140 (I think it will be best for him) or jump up to 154

At 140, you have many names, Maidana, Ortiz, Bradley, Alexander, Judah, Khan, etc... I think many of these might still be too green to face him, but he can pick them off one by one

Since the Floyd Joy fight isnt happening, Mosley prob wont fight him, since he has an up coming fight, Breto is not ready
