Anyone else getting tired of GBP doing all there events in Vegas?

I mean I get it, Vegas is a great fight town, but constantly doing event after event there is getting old. Whatever happened to the days of Don King and others making events special by holding them in places like Tokyo, Manilla, Africa and other places? I'm not saying GBP has to go to those extremes, but atleast add some appeal to a fight by thinking outside the box and picking different places.


FWIW I'm originally from Vegas, and a lot of my family is still there. I'm just stating this so I won't get a million comments such as "Have you been to Vegas on fight night" or "Vegas is _____". Yes I get it and considering I have lived Sin City and have been a boxing fan my whole life, I know what fight night is like there.

Typical ****ing moron that doesn't know ****. Vegas is the best ****ing place to have a major event at. You have it at some other ****ty state then what? Staples gets a pass but seriously what better ****ing place to have a big fight than VEGAS? SO YOU CAN PARTY YOUR ASS OFF AFTER THE FIGHT INSTEAD OF WACK ASS PLACES LIKE DALLAS OR NY

its because gbp are a buncha ****ing amateurs in boxing promotions. They are not real boxing promoters the way top rank are. that's why they cant do a ppv successfully without hbo productions.

I love all the boxing events being out here.

Honestly when I was living there I loved it as well. Even though I was a kid, I still remember Tyson vs Holyfield and how huge that event was. With that said, if you ever move away, then you will see what I'm talking about.

I'm glad your willing to admit it though..lol. Yeah it's cool if you stay there but I mean come on? Every damn event in the same damn place/places. All I really want is for boxing to switch it up every now an then.

nope. saw the maidana fight going to the marquez diaz fight i love this town. miss the the crazy hatton fans that would come out to. there were a few here fore the may mosley fight. they have to be the greatest fans out there not blinded by god worship of there fighter but down as **** and great to drink with.

I guess you miss the part where I said I lived in Vegas and the fact that I'm originally from there? Yeah your right I don't know **** about Vegas, especially since I lived just minutes away from the strip...

I'm seriously considering moving back and going to school up there, so maybe my opinion will change once that happens. I just hate the hoarding of all the mega fights....lol

Cause all they care about is the money... boxing fights bring in highrollers in the casino so the casinos are willing to dish out alot for the fights.

They need to travel around the states and other countries for fights to help spread the sport.

Again this is something UFC is doing better then boxing. When UFC came to Philly it was huge tickets sold out immediatly.
