the funny thing about this is ,Montiel had to go to Japan to fight Hasengawa,beat the crap out of Concepcion and fight guys like Martin Castillo and others.and what has this little BITCCH done?knock out a one dimensional fighter in Vic and fight guys in lower weight classes; and when he finally fought someone his size in Concepcion,he got exposed like the bitcch he really is.What a world.lol.....I really hope Montiel gets what he deserves after he knocks this hype back to where he came from.Comment

Did you even watch the fight idiot? Do you even know boxing? Do you know what it takes to make weight? Donaire dehydrated and sacrificed to make weight while concepcion weighed in, not 1 but 2 weight classes above the division he was fighting Concepcion at. That made all the difference in the world. Concepcion should have been able to take out his disadvantaged foe. That was a huge advantage for concepcion.Comment

You're forming your opinion strictly based on the rules and structure of the sport which is flawed, just like our constitution. Just because there are no height limitations, it doesn't make it right.
Making a comparison to the Klitschkos and Paul Williams is just ****** and makes no sense. A 4-5 inch height advantage in the lower divisions has a much more significant impact than in the higher divisions. It gives an unfair advantage. Why the hell do you think the lower divisions are only 3-4 pounds apart? It's because the smallest difference in weight can have a significant impact when you only weigh 105-126 pounds.
Why else do you think Donaire weight drains and dehydrates himself? He does it because of the height advantage he gets. If his height wasn't a factor at all then he would fight at a weight that was more comfortable.Comment

Donaire and Concepcion are about the same size and even if Concepcion didn't make the weight ,Donaire will rehydrate just about the same as Concepcion give or take a few you dumbass.the fight should have been at 122 or even 118.The real fight was trying to make weight in which Donaire won.**** I think Donaire was the bigger guy that night come to think of it.it's funny how it's a disadvantage when Donaire is the socalled smaller guy but ,what about Darchinyan , Maldonado **** Marquez and ****in Vargas! yeah you really don't know **** about boxing. You probably never experienced trying to make weight. Case in point watch Coralles vs. Castillo 1 vs. Coralles vs. Castillo 2, in which corrales was the bigger man. Dehydrating takes alot out of a fighter and it don't matter if you hydrate after and are close to the same weight as the other guy because the other guy probably rehydrated too and did not have to give much in the process and probably even ended up the bigger man. 2 weight classes is a lot and if you can't see that, I guarantee you don't know ****.Last edited by Alibata; 07-21-2010, 12:21 AM.Comment
