And Tony sold out Staples and sold out his last fight in Mexico. His following is solid.

The People appreciate great champions who don't cheat them out of their money with bull**** 12 round snoozefests.

    Tony is beloved.

dont even argue with a dumbass floyd fan, all they do is **** ride the man

Honestly this will do over a million. Anyone wanna bet since there are a lot of doubters? Remember folks, Pac vs Clottey only had about a month of promoting and they didn't even try to put money into the promotions. Clottey has no fan base and they only did a one hour "Road to Dallas" special and they still did 700k.

        I'm with you.

I'll bet 2 Million that this fight does over 800k to any Margarito hater.

        That's if he fights Margs.

I was gonna post that the large population of Mexican-Americans will help in PPV buys. But even here in BS forum, there are Mexican-Americans that turned away from Margarito.

If the fight is in Mexico, then the stadium attendance will not be a problem. But the PPV buys here in the US might be diffirent. If it is only a few that are no longer fans of Marg, then most Mexican-Americans will buy it. You know the Filipino-Americans will buy a Pac fight. The problem lies now with the neutral fans(non-Mexicans and non-Filipinos).

If Top Rank promotes this right, it will be huge.

I mean people don't boycott controversy no matter what they say.

That's why you have traffic build ups for accidents and gapers delays.
I mean I think it's human nature to be intrigued by things that aren't the norm.

They can set it up as manny the good guy, margarito as the villain and people will eat that **** up like candy.

To be honest, i am not really into the "who got the most PPV buys". To me, just the accomplishments of Pacquiao, he makes the fight exciting, and attracting the crowds, that to me earned him the 50-50 split.

Top Rank should make the Pac-Marg contract final before the end of this month cuz they only have 4 months to promote.

I honestly believe Arum will Market this as Manny's last fight making this do even bigger numbers than it normally would have done.

I am with you. I think Pac is an awesome fighter who always thrills the fans.

And Margarito isn't in dull fights either.

You're right in that they have to make this fast if they are gonna do it.

They need time for promotion and training camps.

Just add up the numbers of their last fights.

Pacquiaos 700k and Margaritos pathetic 12k. Lmfao!!! I estimate a whopping 712k ppv buys.

Wanna bet me all your points if it gets made that it will do over 712k ppv buys??

Cotto didn't really have any PPV buys when the pressure was on Floyd do face him.

                      Double standards?
