How does Cuban Style Boxing differ from regular boxing???

I keep hearing people say that guy has a cuban style boxing, he likes to do things like the cubans do, or he boxes like the cubans and etc...

So what I am wondering is mechanicly and approach wise, how do cubans like to box???

Do they really have different mechanics?? Or do they approach boxing differently???

    They ar every technical fighters.

Fighters with a lot of composure for the most part.

The Cuban amateur boxing program is very strict. I heard they recruit kids when they start turning like 7 or 8 , and that they are very picky with their fighters.

Dont really know how to put it into words.

But Yes , cuban boxing is different.

They got their pros and cons.

IMO they focus more on amateur style boxing since their government kind of thinks they are never going to leave Cuba.

    Is like a boxing bootcamp.

Also verry much discipline, however most of them lose that after turning pro and leaving Cuba, see Gomez and Solis. But they are well schooled and talented because they have a big pool they can chose from because boxing is so popular in cuba.

                very very technical.
i had a cuban trainer, he was vicious, he'd smack me around and get real pissed when I'd **** up.
