Judah needs 1 more fight (2nd tier fighter) before going up against 140lbs elite...

Malignaggi....Uragno....Ortiz....Campbell....Holt. ..Maidana....the list is pretty good for a step up....IMHO...Malignaggi @ MSG makes the most sense....

BUT...1 drawback that I see with the 140lbs division (if any) is that the "Elite" fighters that we hold to such high standards are still pretty "green" when compared to other "Elite" fighters of other divisions.....

    Bradley - 26-0 (11KO)
    Alexander - 20-0 (13KO)
    Khan - 23-1 (17KO)

Bradley being the "elder statesman" at 26 yrs old.

I love the JrWW division...but someone with the experience that Zab brings into the mix of fighters listed above....I just can't see those 3 fighters lasting a full 12 rounds against a FULLY FOCUSED and MORE MATURE ZAB....I just can't...

The man threw 120+ jabs in ALMOST 3 rounds....saw some openings and did what he was suppose to do....I see Zab back in the driver's seat of the 140lbs division in 2 years....

I'll never be convinced Judah is completely matured and able to dominate again unless he does it, but if he does fight a Malignaggi or Peterson and look good, I will definitely want to see him in the ring with Bradley, Alexander, or Khan.

Those would all be good fights.

malignaggi is moving up to 147, Holt is already there.

GBP ain't gonna put ortiz in w/ Zab.

        Campbell is retired.

Maidana is better off cashing out against Khan.

That leave only Urango, which is the fight Judah should be looking for. Judah gotta KO Urango more impressively than Alexander or else he won't get a fight w/ the elite at 140 lbs.

that's why these guy gotta fight each other. judah shouldn't really be in the mix.

we don't even know if a fully focused and more mature zab exists.

wow. all that after zab beat santa cruz, who isn't really even a 140 lber and someone who zab is supposed to beat impressively.

I don't think he has 2 years to take over the division.

            ..

Judah has always been an awesome fighter, until he gets hit.
See Tszyu, Baldomir, Cotto for examples.

Santa Cruz offered him nothing. Plenty of guys at 140 do offer him something to think about before teeing off.

Paulie ain't got no business at 147lbs....

GBP should think about it....why wouldn't they? Is Zab high risk/ low reward for Victor?

Maidana would get murphed out by Khan....and any other of the elite 140lbers...

I doubt anyone can beat Urango more impressively than Devon did...(see Berto). He was a perfect style matchup...for Devon and will be for Zab.

Yes sir.....I know its a bit premature....but HE DID WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSE TO DO (unlike Berto vs Urango). I going out on a limb here and saying Zab will cleanout the 140lb division....unless they all leave for "greener" pastures up "north".

Time will tell...the fights with Clottey and Cotto i'm pretty sure took something out of him...let's see if he got some of that back. I'm gonna stay positive for my boy Zab....

I can understand your point of view....Zab has always fought (or wanted) to fight the best...and yes...he has come up short more times than not, and his lack of focus has ultimately been his undoing....(Floyd,Baldomir,Kosta) while fighting Cotto and Clottey were tests to see if he could hang with the WW elites.....his skill though is undeniable as evidence by beating Cory (insert sarcastic laugh here)

Zab needs a stamina/chin/mentality transplant before going up against the 140 pound elite.
