  • Juanma Vs Marquez A Legitimate Matchup

I know a lot of Cabaguevo fans on here are saying Juanma Is fighting a washed up Marquez on Sept 18th but let me tell you this: Marquez is 35 and Caba is 34. Caba might be younger ring wise but Marquez looked great in his last fight with Vasquez. Finally, and this is the real point: Cabaguevo called out Marquez, Vasquez, AND of course Juanma at the same time. So, if the guy is fighting an old bum, why did YOUR man, want to fight him so bad? Caba wishes he had a big fight like this lined up for him but now that his rival gets it, Juanma is fighting a washed up Marquez? Sorry guy, Marquez is a great fight for anyone at the weight so I don't want to hear anyone saying Juanma has a easy fight coming up because Pelechin wants to fight Marquez too!

i think its a decent fight, but not a great fight. juanma is catching marquez on the downslide, but marquez seems to have just enough in the tank to make it interesting, not to mention that juanma can get caught and put down.

The Rafa fight is a cherrypick, the guy is done and only looked good against totally shot to pieces Izzy........lets not forget him not even being a real FW.

Anything less than a total domination from JuanMa would make his stock drop.

        Marquez is a bit worn.

I do see it as a legitimate fight.

I've got JuanMa winning by by mid round TKO/KO.

        Should be fun.

It is a legit fight, but that doesn't mean that Juanma isn't ducking Pelenchin, because he is!!

I agree to a certain extent. I dont think they will never fight or that Juanma is scared to fight, but I do agree its getting a bit sad now. Pelechin is a good name to have on the resume and he's been throwing this challenge out for years now...they need to make it happen already, and if it never happens, I will be disappointed and have no choice but to believe he ducked him...sad but true...Still, I have hope for this fight right after the Marquez fight if Juanma can pull out a win.

Juanma been calling out Rafa and Izzy for a long time, ever since he KOd Ponce De Leon, and before Caba started calling Juanma out. Cant recall anybody ever totally dominating Rafa..... Rafa has a LOT going for him in this fight, Lopez just proved how inexperienced he is when he got dropped last time out, not to mention his stamina in the Mtagwa fight.
