Because that is still what that side wants to happean even if it isn't now, if the go crazy then Arum goes crazy and if that is the fight they want next year why cause such a mess. That is still the richest fight that hasn't changed.


To me I really see very little downside for Floyd in this, sure some fans and media are pissed at him but it is always like that for him (even if it is mroeso now not by that much). If we are talking leverage the fights proposed for Manny are not the best, they should do good but I don't think either fight is capturing the public to much. If those fights jsut do alright Floyd could think his position is that much better for bigger demands, and even if the fights do very well the offer to him is unlikely to get worse.

Greenburg was mediator of the negotiations , he was passing info from arum to haymon and vice versa . To say that team mayweather had no say in any part of the negotiations is ludicrous.
