Granted, he didn't neutralise Urango's right hook, but he was able to adapt to it somewhat better than was the case in rounds 2 and so on. Urango then had to switch to working the body instead, which worked for a bit, but then ended up lulling him into that head-down position for the uppercut KO.

As for defence, I think Bradley's D looks crappier and crappier each time he fights. It's getting worse, FFS. I actually found myself cringing and wincing at him always staying in the pocket swinging his hands wildly whilst squaring up to Abregu (regardless of those overhand rights he managed to land). To me it seemed like he had made no progress since the Peterson fight.

At least Alexander, being in the southpaw shell-like stance, can elect to do whatever he likes and get out of range when he needs to. Bradley, being so limited in reach to the point of looking like a midget sometimes, practically has no choice other than to leap in, square up and exchange on the inside. It's here that Alexander will test him IMO, and possibly do a repeat of what Holt did - except with more power.

I just can't see Bradley beating him. Not a chance.
I was impressed with Bradley's performance against Abregu. Sometimes you need someone who's gonna bring it to you, in order to perform better. Abregu did not want to engage, and when Bradley became more aggressive Abregu would dash back. What I noticed was that Bradley made Abregu miss alot and made him pay. I actually think Bradley would look alot better against the more explosive Berto.

Sure, Bradley has become more patient in terms of waiting for the chance to throw, but whenever he does throw it's just a bunch of wild, short-armed swings with no regard for accuracy or optimum placement of power. It looks like he wants to sit down on some of those punches and get a KD, but somehow he can't bring himself to do so at the right moment.

IMO the last time he genuinely made a punch count was that vicious right overhand which floored Witter. More of those accurate, well-timed punches with a purpose and then we're talking genuine improvement.

Wylout- You make good points. I see that fight similarly. Bradley isn't knocking Devon out cause he doesn't have enough power. Bradley gets reckless in at least one round during a match in which he swings wildly and tries to hurt a guy (probably cuz he doesn't like hearing about lack of KOs). Those wild loopy punches that Bradley throws at times are really dangerous against Devon, who will slip and counter with power.

Btw someone mentioned the hooks Urango was catching Alexander with, well he did make the adjustment eventually and then he was fine. To me the key advantages Alexander has are a better chin and more power.

yeah and thats a key factor to getting knocked out by a fighter that preys on mistakes

He's hurting guys though. He dropped Lamont with an overhand right, dropped Edner Cherry 2 times, hurt Kendall Holt to the body and stunned Abregu a couple of times. He's a solid puncher, but he has to set up to throw those really hard punches.

I'm surprised you don't see much improvement.

It was stated in the last page. bradley when he throws those wildopen armed shots is wide open for countershots. This is how Holt momentarily removed him from his senses, and kncoked him down again when Holt had nothing left late in the fight. Mind you Holt sucks, and would get KOed against Alexander. Also Devon has a speed, height, reach, and power advntage, which he will use well.
