If Diaz wins it's likely he'll forego the WBO belt and rematch Marquez in a trilogy bout, depending of course on the nature of the fight on the 31st. That'll leave Mick without an opponent again. If Marquez wins and makes the expected move against Khan, Katsidis will probably be made full WBO champ and might rematch Diaz straight up. Idle speculation on my part. I never get this **** right!
I'm thinking he'll drop the belt after one defence (whether it's Murray or whoever else the WBO decide to throw at him), or not defend it at all and go straight up to 140 where the big money fights are to be had.
135 is all but dead now that Funeka is suspended and Valero is gone, so the logical step would be for Kats to follow Khan and/or Marquez up to their division (and one in which he himself has had a lot of KO wins) and keep everyone on their toes.
Katsidis-Maidana or Katsidis-Urango at 140 would be loooooooovely!

Hell no Michael is no Jr Welter and needs to stay at 135. Marquez and Katsidis are at a HUGE size and power disadvantage against these 140 guys. Vicente Escobedo broke Michael's jaw, same Escobedo who is planning a move down to 130 because he thinks hes too small at 135, I can only imagine what would happen with Maidana. Each human body differentiates, some peeople can move up, some cant, Marquez, Diaz, Katsidis cant.
Khan has hungry guys in his own division to worry about. Marquez and Diaz both faltered when they tried to fight above 135. Khan wouldn't get anything but scorn for fighting the winner of the rematch. Katsidis is right to get pissed. He should have first dibs on whoever takes JMM-Diaz 2. I hope it's JMM because I was disappointed as hell when Diaz fought Katsidis last time. I expected a lot more from that one.
Kahn is a huge *****. Isn't he like the tallest jr welter and he is trying to fight little guys. He is severly overated. He is mechanical and stiff, and Roach is overrated as a trainer. Pacquino still is not fundamentally sound. without the juice he gets wiped by the likes of Corley
