I think its very possible. I didnt like to seem him get mixed up with anything political. That can only drain/take time away from his boxing. I think I read where even Arum was talking about he couldnt go to the wildcard gym and train anymore, most of the time would have to be done around his congress time. That isnt good, no p4p boxer can work a job and still prepare to fight somebody like Mayweather.

Pac is now a congressman, it's a full-time job... When there is no session in congress you go to your district and personally see the needs of your people so that you would know what bills to pile up and pass...
I must say congressmen in the Philippines are not the ideal ones but most of them do their jobs and i think Pac's character as a hardworker will include him with the better ones.
I think that the reason Pac wanted to fight in November is he thought it will finally be with mayweather... The fight everyone wants to see...
I hope somebody else would step up their game and dominate the welterweight division so that Manny would think twice about retirement..
Because in all honesty everybody is far below pac and may in WW...

two years from now they will meet. when floyd's already enjoyed his family time or ran out of money again and the IRS is on his tail, whichever comes first and pacman is winding up his political carreer and half of his campaign promises if not all had been made.

I think if PBF wants Pac, he hopes the Pac he faces wont be as good as the one who beat Clottey and Cotto.
He hopes Pac is sidetracked by so many other interests like politics and stuff that he gets a poorer version of Pac.

Too bad when Mommy Dionisia wishes something, it is law in the Pacquiao clan. We actually respect and have high regards for our elders! And also Manny is also a law maker now at the same time while taking college classes from the premier university in the Philippines to help him better understand the ins and outs of his new venture. This Pacquiao is a true person in and out of the ring.
His GenSan townfolks are now his numero uno priority after one more fight!

Honestly Pac isn't retiring from boxing but I still don't see the fight happening next year either. Pac vs Margarito will do 800k to 1 million buys and Floyd will try to push for 60-40 next year. I really hope this is the last time Team Pac waste any time with this dude.

I agree, he had said time and again that he will do just one more fight, as destiny puts it, for an 8th world division title, then retire.

And he doesn`t have to inform Floyd about this, nor do Floyd believe Pacman will do this. Tsk, tsk...

big possiblity... it is even possible that they will fight in next 5 years time if not in 2. but the fight will be more likely an exhibition...

It's pretty prominent in Philippine media how Pac declares that his mom doesn't want him to fight anymore. and just got the blessing for one last fight.
And he's a congressman for chrissakes.. i'm pretty confident that Pac will retire after November fight..
It's a sad week for boxing...
Yeah right, the money that he makes from fights also helps fund some his projects for changing his province. Plus with everyone getting a piece of his purse I predict he fights 3 more times.
