Comments Thread For: Mayweather-Pacquiao: The Perfect Date, If 2010 is Out

With less, if still ample, teeth gnashing than was to be heard when the fight didn’t happen earlier this year, it appears Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao is unlikely to occur in November 2010.

I think it is time for fans to give Arum and GBP a middle finger and no longer accept their BS.

So Manny could not get Floyd and now we are offered a fight with two potential opponents nobody is interested in. Floyd is busy just clubbing instead of clubbing opponents.

There are so many good fighters who deserve the limelight and HBO paychecks but they are not given the chance simply because they are not under the promotional contract of a power player.

I said it years ago. HBO has gotten too powerful. They have their own exclusive club now. You would think they would be interested in the advancement of the sport but they are more interested in knocking Showtime boxing off the air. So they made the deal with two devils and the rest of the sport is on the outside looking in.

"a win for floyd puts him in the public consciousness of ali air"

      wtf?

beating a career 130 & under fighter who is in his 8th-9th division & really shouldnt even be fighting at welter puts floyd in ali status?

      journalistic sensationalism at its finest.

What worries me is what if Margacheato were to win then that`s mean no Floyd/Pac fight or at the very least it takes the luster out of that fight.

You never know Margarito next time instead of Plaster he might put a brick inside his gloves and bash Pac in the head with that ****.We don`t know if the roids is enough to handle the impact of a brick.

May 2011. The biggest fight month of the year. Summertime, everyone is able to attend, no weather issues, more people in Vegas that month compared to any other month. That interview with Floyd today means nothing. He was obviously trying to avoid giving any kind of info about the negotiations to the reporter while he was at a charity event.
