I don't really think it is that much of a big deal, people like to over react but really people expected Floyd to respond to that deadline.

Floyd obviously feels he deserves a better deal (I fail to see how that is not his right) and he is not pressed to make something happean currently. It is a risky move because when he needs to make a move (and he will) his position will be somewhat worse.

I still wouldn't be suprised if the fight came back to life even now.
