Well, if Mayweather would have accepted the fight then we would both know for sure. Now all we can do is speculate but you gotta wonder what the 'real' reason is for Floyd not accepting the fight.

I already said this, I believe that Floyd is waiting to see what happens with Roger and his case. But people will draw their own conclusions.

This is pretty much the definition of a duck in boxing. Theres nothing more clear.

That's very possible but why not state that? We all know Manny wouldn't fight without Roach in his corner so I am sure that is an acceptable response (I even speculated on that earlier in this thread as well). However, both guys are at their peak now and this is the time to fight. Plus, Mayweather probably knows Manny promised his mother one more fight in November then I will retire, so you can only string this along so far. Bob Arum keeps stating May 2011 but what if Manny retires in November? It's highly possible and he considered retiring after Cotto but didn't want any unfinished business done so he said November 2010. We will see...

Floyd is a very clever business man promoting himself and his "perfect" record, he will not fight fight Pacquiao in November he will instead wait and let Pacquiao fight Margarito hoping for Pac to lose and then come out and justify why he is P4P the best and deserves the biggest split if they fight, plus win or lose for Pac the Margarito fight will take alot from Pac considering Margarito style in moving forward and a strong chin, come May, Mayweather will now face a worn out Pac than the one today,

As a Floyd fan, there's no way to defend his decision. At this point he needs to retire and go away for good.

wow...i've seen this big time floyd fan (or *****) as ppl call it around here lol defend floyd to the fullest...but its good to see that even some of his best fans want whats best for the sport...and he can stay retired until he fights pacquiao...(but i aint gonna lie, i'll buy a ppv if he fights p will or sergio, *** me rite lol!...floyd has some crazy skills and no one can deny that)
