Comments Thread For: Sergio Martinez-Alfredo Angulo: Only at 154 Says Shaw

In the aftermath of Alfredo Angulo's first round destruction of Joachim Alcine at Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage, California, boxing scribe Gabriel Montoya [who is also the co-host of BoxingScene's audio show 'Leave It In The Ring Radio'] told promoter Gary Shaw that Lou DiBella was interested in matching WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez against Alfredo Angulo.

Easy fight for the Marvelous one. Too mobile and quick for El Perro.

      I'm a big fan of angulo,But i would have to agree.Angulo has a better
chance with williams then martinez.Angulo should decline this fight.

Didn't Shaw say he'd be willing to have Dawson fight Bute at a catchweight?

Really? He wont fight at 155 for a middleweight title? Looks like he just doesnt want to fight Sergio.

But i think Sergio beats him pretty easy if he doesnt tire.
