Barrett got straight up robbed by the judges.I had him winning by about 3 points...no way in hell should Tua have won on one of the judges cards-especially by the margin he did.It looks like a case of winning on popularity and name.

I actually thought Barrett was gonna end his career getting knocked out. Glad to see he took this fight as seriously as he said he was. I wish him the best in his retirement from the ring.

It was blatently fixed, did you guys see how the announcer was about to announce scores, but then the judges called him back a second time to change the scoring?
Thats terrible, I hate to hear that for Barrett, maybe he can go out with a win in a rematch was the fight at least entertaining.

A very accurate description, both of what happened, and how I feel.

What a very good first-up post to read, good stuff bro.

Well, I really enjoyed that fight tonight, and even though I am from New Zealand - and I have been drinking - I thought that Barrett was in front heading into the final round.

I will go further..... Barrett is a champion in my eyes.

I have always liked him, even though he has a highlight reel of lesser moments as well, but I became a huge fan tonight. Boxing would not be what it is but for characters like Barrett.

Don't diss me about what the word "champion" means.

I dont give a **** about belts, and I haven't done for a long time now.

Barrett is the soul of boxing, the guy that gives everything, every single fight..... whilst not being world class, he can have his moments against anyone who is not prepared, or over-hyped. He's the kind of guy you can rely on to hold a ****ty card together, and the kind of guy you can rely on to fight..... no matter what, Barrett turns up to fight.

I love the guy, I don't give a **** what anyone says. He has been a very, very, good contender, and it is men like him that endure the rigorous everyday ups-and-downs of what has to be the toughest professonal sport in the world, to feed his family and try to measure himself against the best.

Mr Barrett, if that really was your last fight, then I thank you Sir, for the great fights and the entertaining moments, and for giving your life and soul to the sport I love. The sport of boxing is better-off for your presence, and we all owe you a debt of gratitude.

              All the very best champ.

Agreed, and I am one of those fools

I would have bet you going into a Klitschko fight that Tua would not be stopped, and that even though way behind on the cards, could still pull off a one-punch upset.

                  Fail.

Good one for acknowledging Barrett's performance.

I had Barrett winning by exactly 3 points.

Ahead by one point heading into the last..... but I did not deduct a point from Tua for the throw, because of him having no history prior to, or during, the fight, and because he received no warning.
