The #1 reason that we are going to get fights like Pac/Cotto II and Pac/Margarito is simple and people forget this..... Bob Arum admitted that he has a very high guaranteed purse he has to pay Pac for each fight. So, no matter what makes sense or what the fans actually want to see, we are only going to see what Bob perceives will net the most money for him to pay off Pacs purse and net him some profit. This aspect of the game is what is ruining it for the fans, and IMO we are just beginning to see the tip of the iceberg. It's not just Bob though... it's the fighters and other promoters too.

One more thing, I don't completely understand why so many here think that Pac/Berto would be a good fight? If you think Berto held a lot against Quintana, can you imagine the hug-fest we would get against Pacquiaou? I just don't see it being a good fight.... atleast not the Berto I saw against Quintana, and I can't imagine Berto not taking that tactic with Pac.
