I would love to see that fight. I think Mayorga would win it by late round TKO, but it would be a war from the opening bell.

The fight I really want to see at 154 is Mayorga - Ouma. However if Vargas could beat Mayorga, a Vargas - Ouma matchup would be very good too.

There was a time where Vargas would have made Mayorga look bad and would have beaten him convincingly, but I think Mayorga would **** Vargas up at this stage in their careers. Vargas just looks too robotic and uncomfortable in the ring, and showed no signs of being back in that Joval fight. At least we got to see signs of the old Quartey in the middle rounds of his comeback, but Vargas looked pretty bad.

No joke. I wanna see a Phillips-Quartey rematch cuz that was fun

Vargas hasn't looked all that great but I think you all are going to be very surprised when he beats Mayorga. He was way too defensive in his last fight but still won pretty easy. Vargas will open up on Mayorga more and bust him up to decision win. His skills far exceed Mayorga's.

hold up... vargas hasn't fought a decent fight in a LONG TIME. and also the only guy to ever KO mayorga, was trinidad. and thts after he landed TONS OF PUNCHES. also a weight where mayorga was clearly not comfortable, hoenstly 160 way to big for him. vargas defeniitly has the experience at super welter ill give him that, n i am a vargas fan, not as much as b4, but still a fan.
but frankly, mayorga is a bigger puncher that DLH and tito in my mind. and vargas is **** against hooks.

No way in hell is he a better OR bigger puncher than either De La Hoya or ESPECIALLY Trinidad. Felix is one of the greatest p4p punchers EVER.

Winky fight was the closest. Its simple. I think Winky did win the fight on my cards.....but that really doesnt matter. He cruised the last rounds and Vargas was the agressor. Not very impressive for a challenger to act like the champ.

Quartey was made to look foolish IMO. He might have broken Vargas' nose....but not his will. His superior boxing skills were evident and he won the fight decisively.

He was ahead on the scorecards at the time DLH stopped him, he put up a great fight against arguably one of the hardest punchers of all time in Felix Trinidad.
