May/Pac "negotiations" used to promote Pac-Cotto/Marg?

What can I say? You made an intresting point, I figured he wanted to fight Cotto from the jump rather then Margarito. I felt that since he beat Cotto once, hed set Cotto up with Foreman another top rank fighter, snatch the belt and have Manny go for the 8th title. The same they talked about clottey during the first round of negotiations, they talked about cotto and marg. SO this isnt nothing new to me.

Bob Arum lied to all of Manny fans... He said that Top Rank and GBP came to an agreement...Bob never talked to GB, he talked to Ross Greenwhoever...since when do we talk to HBO to negatiate fights for FLoyd??

I dont see how Mannys fans can accept that...Its piss poor to lie like that..

yep, they know pac isnt in the drivers seat. so i they are trying to make big fights for pac to try and get control of the situation/negotiations.

and of course, give manny a way to pick up another paperbelt like thats giong to be a bargaining chip(which it wont be.)

pac/cotto or marg wont do big numbers and people are hip to teh game with the belt chasing.

if floyd decides to fight Martinez or haymon throws Pwill in there with floyd. but especially Sergio, thats going to do big numbers. and thats just another nail in TR's coffin.

they dont seem to be open to anyone outside of TR but team floyd have some great options out there. i would love to see FLoyd-Sergio at 160 for the title...that would be huge

but this is the second time TR have ****ed up trying to gain the upperhand.

Arum has not in any way tried to get a fight with Mayweather Jr at all.

At the end of Mayweather Jr vs Mosley - Floyd said "all Pacquaio has to do is take the tests and we got a fight"

I find it odd that Arum has not come out and stated issues on 'drug testing' during the second round of "supposed" negotiations.

Due to the fact that he seems to dodge the question of drug testing every time he's asked, I 'definitely' don't think he's met this demand from Mayweather Jr.

Thus making me believe that he hasn't tried to make a fight at all.

If you find Arum as a complete liar, then you don't have to create conspiracy theories like this in the first place because you have nothing to begin with if you don't even trust the same guy who's the leading role in your own telenovela.
